found some unexpected inspiration in the work of a former fellow student from RISD— Zach Brown. (i’d link to his site but he has none.) he draws some heavy influence from italian renaissance work, which reminded me that i used to glaze in oils a lot. like, only glaze. for years. i think now is a good time to take a stab at it...
